I have followed Ron Paul for many years, something pretty easy and rewarding to do when you are disgusted by establishment politicians. Hey, there is no perfect candidate out there, but Ron Paul meets and far exceeds my “minimum-must-have” requirements.
I will be the first to say that I question how he would implement his foreign policy, but being that we have checks and balances in place (something Obama gleefully and illegally tramples on), I am really not that worried about it. Ron Paul loves this country and would not treat the office of the president like his own personal dictatorship like this current guy does.
Ron Paul is a champion of the Constitution, which is something We The People desperately need after the attacks, by both parties, on the document that keeps us free. We have let it go so far now that we will have a fight on our hands to get our rights back, but We The People can do it.
He wants to take on the Federal Reserve, and audit this non-government entity that has so much power. This is the reason he is attacked by both Democrats and Republicans, though the establishment politicians won’t dare admit it.
They don’t want things to truly change, and they would if more people knew what was going on behind the curtain of the Fed. Remember this, the Fed is about as “federal” as Federal Express. They are not part of our government, they are a collection of private banks. They are absolutely not working for the best interest of We The People, they are in business for themselves.
Being chained as we are to this non-elected bunch of bankers, it is small wonder that We The People have lost control of this government. We simply can’t defeat the big-money brokers when the big-money brokers have purchased most of the politicians.
Learn about the Fed. You will not like what you learn. You will not like our politicians, in either party.
Oh, and learn about Ron Paul. Listen to him speak. Don’t rely on the media, they are as big a part of the good old boy establishment as the crooked politicians themselves. At worst, Ron Paul should be Secretary of the Treasury. At best, he will be the real hope and change for this country.
