OnStar to sell tracking information

It was recently revealed that OnStar is preparing to use the information they gather to do more than what we pay them to do.  They are going to be using the information collected about us for profit.  With the latest update, OnStar announced they will collect information to be used, “for any purpose, at any time, provided that following collection of such location and speed information identifiable to your Vehicle, it is shared only on an anonymized basis.” Even worse, they will still collect and sell your information after you have cancelled the OnStar service.  To stop them from tracking … Continue reading
